Today when I posted the previous post I also send my friend Nina, the crator and founder of Let’s Doodle Unique Surfwear, a photo of her logo on my new magic stick. This was a little thanks for her sharing of her music, which is making the rides on the waves of a 20 year old diesel engine a much more pleasurable experience, thank you Nina;)

The last days in Peniche, Portugal are unfolding in really amazing deep soul aloha spirit. Times and times again, it just amazes me, how all the events happening in a period of time, can come together in the most spectacular ways and waves that continue in an endless swell in the depths of the souls and places with such power that can make any reality a happy place to be.

Surfing session of today was just, simply crazy. The Baleal beach was striked with almost direct swell of 3.5 meter high.

At the just before the low-tide arrival at the beach with Iztok, the owner of Surf School Tribu the conditions were close-outs. Massive close outs, at which the whole beach was shaking and roaring.

Yesterday, we were pleasantly surprised, as the forecast for the day was heavy rain and cold winds.  We woke up in the morning and the forecast was correct, we were having breakfast and making plans for a lazy surfers Sunday.

But before we finished with the coffee, the warm sun came shinning trough the dense clouds and in less than 20 minutes the sky was crystal clear.

At  the ASP world tour contest Rip Curl Pro Portugal 2012 an unbelievable wave was captured in the eye of the camera.

It’s the most unbelievable wave scene I have ever seen.

In the rainy conditions here in Supertubos today on the day 9 of 11 at the Rip Curl Pro Portugal 2012, the conditions are not perfect for surfing. Still the organizers decided to continue with the competition and we saw the start of the round three  with the third heat of the round.  We saw some good waves in the heats with scores over 10 in every heat, up until the Heat 7, with Kelly Slater and Raoni Monteiro.

On A rainy Wendesday in Peniche Portugal, the surf forecast for the day was perfect. Big swell and offshore winds. I spent my rainy morning to write the thoughts for this Blog and the news for the Surf School Tribu website. I did all the tasks for my company at home, so I was able to have a great mid and high tide session at the afternoon.
