Today when I posted the previous post I also send my friend Nina, the crator and founder of Let’s Doodle Unique Surfwear, a photo of her logo on my new magic stick. This was a little thanks for her sharing of her music, which is making the rides on the waves of a 20 year old diesel engine a much more pleasurable experience, thank you Nina;)

Times and times again, it just amazes me, how all the events happening in a period of time, can come together in the most spectacular ways and waves that continue in an endless swell in the depths of the souls and places with such power that can make any reality a happy place to be.

Born In Slovenia, Made In Portugal – History Of The Globe Cruiser Surf Van

Globe Cruiser 2.0  Has Landed in Czech Republic 2009

Globe cruiser surf van and me started our path in 2007, when we bought this van with my father. His co-worker, the previous owner already did some work on it to make it a camper, but the job was poorly done and the van was able to stay in camping sites only. Anyway the outside of the van and the engine were in solid condition. We took some small trips in the camp sites, nothing like nomad style traveling with this version 1.0 version of the van. And it  took a year of being an exchange student in Latvia to increase my lust for traveling to strat turning this 1990 Mercedes Benz MB100 in to the surf van that it is today.

I’ve met Nina Doodle on that very same surf trip on which I started this blog. . . . in may 2012. Nina is already responsible for many geat photos on this blog, as she was working as a photographer for Surf School Tribu Portugal in Peniche. Who knows . . . maybe it’s because of her great photos, I got my finall motivation to start this blog.
