The second day of the waiting period for the Rip Curl Pro Portugal, here in Peniche was also a lay day. The swell was really small and there was strong onshore winds making them close-out even faster.

But despite the second lay day in row, the organizers took good care of the fun on the beach.  You were able to ride a tube from broken surfboards, plastic bags and take a picture even in the real one. There is also a lot of beautiful hostes girls fro different sponsor companies to chat about and with them.

And you can ride in a Zorb-ball  running up and down the Supertubos beach. It’s a spining sensation indded and definately lots and lots of fun.

It’s a really nice atmosphere here in Peniche and the Supertubos. You can really feel the Aloha surfing atmosphere in the air and this year the organizers have put up the Surf festival on the surf-spot, which should be spectacular. A big beach party.

But we are all hyped to see some great swell and the World’s best surfers to ride this wave. The contest will most likely begin on Saturday as there is a 2.8 meter incoming swell forecasted for that day with strong cross-offshore winds. Dreamy conditions for the dreamy wave of Supertubos.
