As I was searching the web if someone had a crazy idea similar to mine, about paddle training on a surf, paddling upstream the river. I have found a really interesting and amazing video about surfing the tidal river wave in China.  A wave in the Qiantang River in China, which holds the largest tidal wave in the world, which can go up as high as 30 feet, travelling up to 25 miles per hour. Surfers call it the Silver Dragon.

This definitely looks a whole lot of more fun than paddling up-stream. It’s just an endless slowly breaking loooong wave. A never-ending pleasure of wave. I guess that’s why they call t the Silver Dragon. Sure want to surf that one day.
